Q &A

  • Question says:

Hello! I was thinking a lot about how would you imagine Sylvia’s later life after Josh… Ofcourse I have fantasy, and I can imagine it, but I’m wondering if you tell your opinion 🙂

    • Susan Lewis says:

I’m sorry, but because of moving on to the next book I don’t dwell on it much, other than to assume it’s all going to work out well. xxx

  • Question says:

Hi Susan. I am wanting to send an e mail but not sure what address to send to. Would it be possible to advise where best to send? Many thanks Julie Sursok

    • Susan Lewis says:

Best move is to use the contacts page on this website.

  • Question says:

Hi Susan! I’m one of your Hungarian readers. I just would like to ask: could you do anything about your books become translate in Hungary? I would be the happiest if it will happen.. 🙂 And another: I really-really like Sylvia in “The mill house”. Could you write to me how are you imagine her later life without Josh? Or could you write a novel about it? (I don’t think the second one, but I just tried :-))

    • Susan Lewis says:

Hello Vivien, thank you so much for your message and your lovely support. I’m afraid the translations are not in my hands. It is up to Hungarian publishers to organise this. I’m sorry that they haven’t done so, but hopefully they will. 🙂

  • Question says:

    Hi Susan
I have just finished reading forgotten and it’s such a good book. Very moving
I just wondered if you ever thought about doing a follow up to it
    From Hannah

    • Susan Lewis says:

Hi Hannah, I’m so thrilled that you enjoyed this book. It was a very special one for me, difficult to write at times because of the subject matter, but I hope worthwhile. You will see that I have removed part of your question, this is simply to avoid giving anything away for other readers. The answers is that there are no plans for a sequel at this time, but you know how it goes – never, say never 🙂

  • Question says:

Dear Susan, I would like to know the name of the sequel to “No Child of Mine” please. Thank you, Nancy.

    • Susan Lewis says:

The sequel is Don’t Let Me Go. There is also a third book in the series due out in February 2017 titled You Said Forever.
I hope that helps and that you enjoy them. Thank you very much for your interest. Susan

    Hi susan
I’m a huge fan of all your books and I’m reading no place to hide at the moment and I can’t put it down
I was just wondering if you’ll be doing anymore books soon
    From Hannah Crossland

    • Susan Lewis says:

Hello Hannah, if you go to the Books page on this website you’ll see that there have been two more books since No Place to Hide, so I’m doing my best 🙂

  • Question says:

Haven’t read any of your books yet, which is the best one to start with thank you.

    • Susan Lewis says:

Why down’t you try the most recent – The Girl Who Came Back. Or you could start at the beginning (long way back) with A Class Apart.
Whichever you choose I really hope you enjoy them. xx

  • Question says:

    Hi Susan,
I love your books and have read them all. I’ve just started The Moment She Left’. I was wondering if Kesterly-on-Sea was based on a real place and if so, where is it? All your books mention places which are familiar to me, Exeter,Bristol etc.. and I would just find it very interesting to know the answer to this question.
    Thank you,
    Kind regards,
    Kate Bolwell.

    • Susan Lewis says:

Hi Kate, thank you so much for your lovely comments about my books. Kesterly is really a figment of my imagination, based very loosely on Minehead, Weston-Super-Mare or Ilfracombe.

  • Question says:

    Hi Susan
I really enjoy your writing and was wondering which authors you like to read when you aren’t writing?
    Kind regards
    Inge

    • Susan Lewis says:

Hi Inge, I read such a wide variety of books. At the moment I’m re-reading Tess of the d’Urbevilles. Before that I re-read East of Eden, and waiting on my Kindle is a big cross section of authors from around the world. So I’m afraid it’s hard to categorise my reading, but I certainly love to do it.

  • Question says:

    Hi Susan
I’m a dad who is looking to get some books for my 13 year old daughter. There is bundle available on-line which includes “Summer madness, Taking chances and Never Say Goodbye” Are these books (and others) age appropriate?
    Regards

    • Susan Lewis says:

To be honest, Trevor, they aren’t. For a thirteen year old I’d be more inclined to recommend The Choice, Lost Innocence, Too Close to Home, or Dance While You Can. I hope that helps, and sorry that they don’t come in a bundle.

  • Question says:

    Dear Susan,

I LOVE your books. I can’t put it down from the moment I start reading them. What I like about your writing is the fact that your plots are all different. I don’t get tired of reading your books because I don’t know what each book is about. I do have to say, I wish they were longer or had a sequence. Keep up with the good work. Pls. note there is a author Susan Kiernan-Lewis that one can easily assume that the both of you are one and the same. Cheers. Nerina

  • Question says:

    Hi Susan
I have just read your book ‘Behind Closed Doors’ and enjoyed it so much I didn’t want to put it down ! In which order of your books should I read – do they follow on
I borrowed your book from the library on the cruise ship and want to read many more of your books!
    Keep writing
    Carole

    • Susan Lewis says:

Hi Carole, I’m so glad you enjoyed Behind Closed Doors enough to make you want to read more. 🙂
Here is a link to all my books giving the order in which they were published. You will also see that there are other options to choose, which will tell you the books that run in sequence. Happy reading, I hope you enjoy them. http://www.susanlewis.com/index.php/category/books/?wp_order=ASC
